My fabulous friend J sent me this link this morning, and I have to say… “WOAH!” I feel like this is us a lot of the time when I take my son out into the community, but even the simplest trip to a restaurant can turn sour in the blink of an eye. But thank goodness for the good samaritans who were vocal, kind, and simply amazing in this video. It really shows the viewer that there are so many caring people out there ready to lend a helping hand. Even when you least expect it.

Square Peg in a Round Hole 
As I was watching this Seth came up and sat in my lap. He said “that boy is like me!” He recognized Autism even in an actor. We have had battle after battle in public yet we always try again! He’s so much better now than when he was younger, but I would never consider keeping him at home and not taking him in public. I can’t change the world for my son, but I can prepare and help change my son for the world. He will always have Autism, he will always be a bit quirky, but he will learn to function in this world if I have anything to say about it. I say this all the time, Our kids are going to change the world, or change how the world thinks about Autism! And with that I think we should go out for breakfast!
