This week’s guest contributor is Tara. Tara is a mom to a beautiful little girl named Olivia. Olivia is smart, sassy, athletic, smiley, care-free, and a great role model to other kids. Tara and I go back about eleven years, and even though we don’t see each other too often, we always seem to pick up exactly where we left off, each and every time. Tara has done an incredible job raising her daughter and constantly bestows upon her, good values, good manners, and most importantly, she teachers her daughter that individuality is key.
Tara sent me this article late last night, and we discussed it this morning over instant messenger. She read yesterday’s post and this article hit a personal note with her. Tara said that she could understand where this mom was coming from, and you know what? I bet a lot of us out there can sympathize with her as well. Please take the time to read this beautifully written article about the mom who is just like us, and who pieced together her own puzzle one piece at a time.
Thank you Tara for being this weeks contributor. You are an amazing mom, and Olivia so lucky to have you. I should also mention that Tara and I are part of what we call the “Mommy Club.” There are five of us with eleven kids total. Each of us goes about our day, every day, with our heads held high, and the support of each other. We constantly check in on one another, and even though some of us live far apart, we are each other’s greatest and loudest cheerleaders, everyday.
If you want to be a contributor to “Square Peg in a Round Hole” please reach out to me. I’d love to hear what you have to say, and share it with others. TGIF
Tara has asked to keep the identity of her daughter private, so please enjoy the beautiful picture I found of Tara. Thanks again o’l bean. You rock!
