Twas the night before Thanksgiving, and all I could think, was would my child behave himself and what the hell would he eat?
There will be no leftovers in our house this year, so nothing will beckon, and to me it’s crystal clear. No stuffing no turkey no sweet potatoes no bread, so my chubby ass will have to deal with dieting instead.
Remember, family is love and family is life, and it doesn’t matter where you go, as long as it’s without strife. There will be travel and there will be traffic, so take some deep breaths and relax, without getting too graphic.
So help with the clean-up and help with the dishes, and pray that nobody drinks too much and destroys your “thankful wishes.” And don’t forget to smile and give someone a tight tight hug, because these are the people that care about you the most, and love you, you big lug!
So enjoy your “turkey day” or what ever you eat, and remember to be thankful for all that you have, and not those nasty crows-feet. And yes, the holiday season has officially begun, so remember to give, because giving is fun. Giving is good and it’s great for the soul, so Happy Thanksgiving to you and get out of that “hole!”
